Community Guidelines

Last updated: October 28, 2026

NexSouk is written by its community. These guidelines keep articles useful, fair and safe for everyone. They sit alongside our Terms of Service.

How articles are reviewed

  • When you publish an article, or change one that is already published, it is checked automatically against the guidelines below. This takes a few seconds.
  • If everything looks fine, your article goes live straight away.
  • If something clearly breaks a guideline, it is not published. You will see what to change, and nothing you wrote is lost.
  • If the check is unsure, or you think it made a mistake, a moderator reviews the article. You will get a notification when it is published or if it needs changes.
  • The automatic check can't verify local facts, so you remain responsible for making sure what you write is accurate.

The guidelines

  1. 1. No hate speech

Do not attack or demean people because of race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits, and do not use slurs.

  2. 2. No harassment or personal attacks

Do not bully, insult or target a specific person. Criticise ideas, decisions and businesses fairly instead.

  3. 3. No threats or calls to violence

Do not threaten anyone, wish harm on people, or encourage violence.

  4. 4. No sexual or explicit content

Keep articles free of sexual content and explicit descriptions.

  5. 5. No encouragement of self-harm

Do not encourage or give instructions for suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.

  6. 6. Respect people's privacy

Do not publish private details such as someone's home address, phone number, private email, ID numbers or financial details without their permission.

  7. 7. No spam, scams or pure advertising

Articles are not ads. Do not post sales pitches, affiliate or referral links, get-rich-quick schemes, or repeated promotional content.

  8. 8. No promotion of illegal activity

Do not encourage or explain how to commit crimes, such as selling drugs or weapons illegally, hacking or fraud.

  9. 9. No clearly false or dangerous claims

Do not present clearly false information as fact where it could cause harm, such as fake cures, health hoaxes or false emergency alerts.

  10. 10. Write a real article

Gibberish, test posts, copy-pasted filler or a few random words are not articles.

  11. 11. Keep it to articles

Articles should inform or tell a story. Questions, chat messages, personal notes or posts meant for a forum belong elsewhere.

Repeatedly breaking these guidelines can lead to your articles being removed or your account being suspended. See also: Terms of Service · Privacy Policy
