The story follows Anne Kelly, a woman on the brink of forty who still lives with her mother. Her family dynamics are complicated, with a deadbeat brother and a crumbling family home. When a younger man enters her life, Anne begins to see the benefits of not always having to be the responsible one. "Assisted Living" is a humorous and thought-provoking exploration of where our families end, and we begin.
